As a retired Special Investigations Division Captain with the Orange County Sheriff's Office and the founding Executive Senior Director of Security Operations at Orlando Health — one of Florida's largest health systems — he brings real-world command authority to every case he handles.

Mark Lang is a nationally recognized consultant in negligent security, premises liability, and law enforcement standards — with more than four decades of combined experience across law enforcement, corporate security administration, and private investigations.

Before establishing Investigations HQ, LLC, Mr. Lang retired from the Orange County Sheriff's Office as a decorated Special Investigations Division Captain and served as the first Executive Senior Director of Security Operations for Orlando Health. He holds a Master of Criminal Justice from Boston University and has been published in the Journal of Healthcare Protection Management.
